Suzuki has listed down the holy Hayabusa, GSX S750, V-Strom 1000, GSX S1000 and GSX R1000. All these five bikes have been discontinued and there is no word on their come back. Suzuki Hayabusa is an ageing product and has been discontinued in the European markets last year. We might not get to see the relaunch of the legendary Hayabusa again. However, we expect Suzuki will launch the GSX 750 again with a BS6 compliant engine while the others are yet to be considered.
The upcoming Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT will draw power from the same 645cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine which, in BS4 guise, used to churn out 71 hp and 62 Nm of torque with power channelling to the rear wheel via a 6-speed manual gearbox. In the BS6 guise, power output is expected to remain the same as well. The launch of the V-Strom will happen just after the lockdown lifts off. The current V-Strom was priced from Rs 7.52 lakhs ex-showroom. We might see a minor revision in the price of the new BS6 model.
