Buoyed by the success of the Tata Harrier Dark Edition, the company has today launched the Dark Editions of the Tata Altroz, Nexon, Nexon EV and the updated Harrier Dark. Tata Altroz Dark Edition - Price
The Tata Altroz is currently on sale in India in seven variants, namely XE, XM, XM+, XT, XZ, XZ (O) and XZ+. Now, the company has launched the Dark Edition of this premium hatchback. However, it needs to be mentioned that the Altroz Dark Edition is available in the fully-loaded petrol XZ+ variants only and that too only with the petrol engine options. The Dark Edition is not available with the oil burner. The price of the all-new Tata Altroz Dark Edition is Rs 8.71 lakhs for the XZ+ naturally-aspirated petrol mill while the XZ+ variant with the iTurbo motor is priced at Rs 9.36 lakhs, Ex-showroom.

What's New?
The Tata Altroz Dark Edition gets several updates. However, these updates are purely aesthetic & the mechanicals of the premium hatchback remains the same as before. For instance, the Dark Edition of the Altroz is finished in a premium Cosmo Dark paint scheme with fully blacked-out body parts. It gets diamond-cut 16-inch alloy wheels with a dark tint and premium dark chrome on its hood. The new Altroz Dark Edition gets the signature #DARK mascot too. The dark theme has been carried to its cabin too as it gets a new premium Grante Black interior theme with subtle blacked-out elements.

Tata Altroz Dark Edition Specifications
The new Altroz Dark Edition is available with two petrol engines only. The first one is a BS6 compliant 1.2-litre, naturally-aspirated, three-cylinder Revotron petrol engine that churns out 86 PS of power and 113 Nm of peak torque. It also gets a BS6 compliant 1.2-litre, three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that churns out 110 PS of power and 140 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
