In yet another episode of upcoming SUV facelifts currently testing, we got our hands on the Tata Harrier facelift shots in a parking lot. And it hints at a lot of major updates. While the cosmetics updates are now obvious, it isn't limited to just that. The interiors get a revamped treatment as well.

Tata Harrier Facelift Spotted- New Styling
Tata Motors is ready to up its game with a more upmarket interior with its flagship SUVs. The exterior is getting quite significant upgrades, and the cabin will complement it further. Firstly, we can see the 2-spoke steering wheel unit like the one we saw on the Tata Safari facelift. On top of this, it will get a revamped cabin, a new infotainment screen, and the ac vents layout. Overall, a fresh appeal is waiting for you at its launch.
Coming to the front and rear, it will get a refreshed styling, new LED headlamps, and tail lamps along with a revised bumper. The tailgate is also tweaked and will most probably come with the connected LED light beam. The Harrier facelift shares a familiar dashboard design with the Safari facelift test mule. Notably, it showcases a refreshed climate control panel with updated touch and toggle controls.
Powertrain
The Harrier facelift is expected to retain its 2.0-liter turbo-diesel engine, delivering 170hp and 350Nm of torque. It will also likely introduce a new 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine with 170hp, previously showcased at Auto Expo 2023. What this new petrol engine will do is lower the starting price, and hence increase its market penetration.
Expected Launch And Rivals
The Harrier facelift will enter a competitive market, challenging the likes of the Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector, and Jeep Compass. Manufacturing of the Harrier facelift is anticipated to commence in September, with the launch expected in October. Presently, the Harrier is priced between Rs 15 lakh to Rs 24.07 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The facelifted version will carry a modest price increase.
