Car discounts are offered to boost more sales and with the festivals approaching, no carmaker wants to be left behind in terms of sales. Same is the case with the Indian carmaker Tata who is offering a discount of up to Rs 80,000 on some of its models for October 2020.

Tata Harrier
The flagship SUV from Tata Motors is being offered with the highest discount which is Rs 80,000. This includes Rs 25,000 as cash discount, Rs 40,000 as exchange bonus and another Rs 15,000 as a corporate discount. This scheme is applicable on all variants except for the Dark edition.

Tata Harrier Dark Edition is available with Rs 55,000 of discount only which accounts for Rs 40,000 as exchange bonus and another Rs 15,000 as the corporate discount. Tata Harrier comes with a 2.0L diesel engine only which makes 170 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual or an optional 6-speed torque converter unit.
Tata Tiago
Tata's entry-level hatchback, Tiago which also gets Global NCAP 4-star rating is available with a total discount of Rs 30,000. This can further be seen into Rs 15,000 as cash offer, Rs 10,000 as exchange bonus and another Rs 5,000 as a corporate discount. Tata Tiago gets a 1.2L petrol engine which makes 84 bhp and a peak torque of 113 Nm. It gets a 5-speed manual and an optional AMT gearbox.
Tata Tigor
The Hyundai Aura rival, Tata Tigor currently is available with a total discount of Rs 40,000 (Rs 15,000 of cash, Rs 15,000 of exchange and Rs 10,000 of corporate). Like the Tiago, the Tigor also receives the same engine with exact same power output.

Tata Altroz
Tata's premium hatchback, Altroz which also rivals the Maruti Baleno, Toyota Glanza, Hyundai Elite i20 and Honda Jazz is getting up to Rs 10,000 of total discount. This is for the diesel engines and the discount for the petrol sticks to a mere Rs 3500. However, this discount is particularly for Tata Vendors only.
Tata Nexon
One of the safest compact SUVs, the Nexon sees a discount of a total of Rs 20,000 for the diesel and Rs 5,000 for the petrol models. The Nexon is available with as much as 36 variants to choose from and is the most affordable SUVs to come with an electric sunroof. It gets a 1.2L turbo petrol engine and a 1.5L turbocharged diesel engine.
