Shark Fin Antenna

This is literally designed in the shark dorsal fin style, placed at the rear center of the roof, and is one module for all the antennas required in modern cars. It is the house for all the signals related to GPS, Wi-Fi, Radio, and calling. This doesn't just take up less space, but also looks aesthetically pleasing. Now, apart from looking good, this antenna also contributes to maintaining the aerodynamics as it doesn't become a barrier to the crossing air, plus the signals don't lose - even if the car is driving fast.

Another benefit of Shark Fin Antenna is that they are less prone to getting damaged compared to traditional antennas, as they're not hanging out. Traditional antennas are more prone to damage because they protrude. Also, in extremely windy situations, these don't work properly because it becomes extremely hard to catch signals at that time. Lastly, their functionality is very limited, not as diverse as a Shark Fin.

To add more, the large infotainment screen, which has become a standard feature in modern cars, gets a lot of support from the shark fin, whereas the older traditional one can't really support it, as it requires fast network and cellular compatibility. That said, in the Toyota Innova Crysta, the traditional antenna is still present, and the same is provided in the Hyundai Creta base E variant.
