KIA Carens EV

The upcoming KIA Carens EV will boast a new design language inspired by its bigger sibling, the EV6. The front end will sport a new LED DRL, a closed-off front grille, and a redesigned LED headlamp design. The recently spotted test mule showed the front-mounted charging port and the presence of ADAS radar, confirming the availability of ADAS in the upcoming EV version.
On the sides, the Carens EV will boast new aerodynamic alloy wheels for better MPV aerodynamics. The alloy wheel design looks similar to that of the EV9. At the rear, it will get a connected LED taillamp and vertically stacked end lights.
The features of the upcoming Carens EV are expected to be similar to the upcoming facelift. It is expected to get 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, air-purifier, 360-degree camera, level 2 ADAS, wireless charging, and ventilated seats among other features. We can expect the EV version to come with both 6 and 7-seater options.

The details of the battery specifications are still under wraps, but we anticipate it will come with a large battery pack, offering a range of around 500 km on a single charge. Additionally, the brand may introduce a smaller battery pack version to cater to buyers who prefer a more affordable option. It will continue to feature an FWD drivetrain, similar to the ICE model.
