Tata Nexon DCT
The DCT is clearly visible in the test mule's engine compartment, as seen in the most recent spy photos, where it is indicated on a tag affixed to one of the engine's components. The discovery of the test mule has confirmed rumours that Tata Motors would equip the Nexon with an automatic gearbox that was more smooth and hassle free. Tata Motors already offer the DCT transmission in the Altroz and they call it a self-developed DCA transmission.
According to Tata Motors, the internally created DCA gearbox can be adapted for use in other Tata cars and was created specifically to suit Indian conditions. The test mule's gear lever in the previously photographed spy images showed a function seen in DCT gearboxes called "P mode." The newer Nexon model with an AMT gearbox, in contrast, does not include a "P" or parking mode.
The upcoming Tata Nexon Facelift will have numerous improvements to its look, interior, and feature set. The manufacturer may also equip the Nexon with a new 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine. However, the company has not released any information regarding the planned Nexon facelift. By the end of the year, it is anticipated to break covers
