Tata has officially announced the arrival of its Punch, which is based on the HBX concept showcased at the Auto Expo 2020. The Punch will rival the likes of Maruti Ignis, S-Presso and Renault Kwid in the micro- SUV segment.
Tata has already shown the overall appearance of the Punch and is expected to launch around the festive season of 2021. Meanwhile, people have already started booking the Punch and dealerships have also started accepting the bookings with Rs 5,000 as the booking amount. Here is a video explaining the procedure of how to book a Tata Punch micro SUV.
The Tata dealerships require certain documents of the customer like Adhar Card, PAN Card and token money and the booking will be in the name of Tata Punch. As the car has not yet been launched or revealed, the variant can not be mentioned.

The arrival of the Punch will make the segment very exciting indeed. People will be able to buy their own strong and muscular micro SUV at almost the price of a compact hatchback.
According to some spy videos, the feature list includes things like a flat-bottom steering wheel which is becoming very popular with modern cars including some of Tatas own products. This has given it a very sporty feel which is necessary for an SUV.
