The Tata Nexon is one of the highest selling cars in the brand's line-up and boasts an extremely safe cabin, a good looking exterior design and capable powertrain options. The Tata Nexon was also the most affordable SUV in the brand's line-up but with the launch of the Punch, the Nexon has definitely lost this place. The Tata Punch is the first micro-SUV by the Indian carmaker and comes with an extensive features list along with an extremely bold and impressive design. While there is a significant difference in the prices of the two vehicles, the Tata Punch does offer similar capabilities and an SUV-like presence that makes it a great contender for those looking for a smaller SUV when compared to the Nexon. Here is a detailed Tata Punch Vs Tata Nexon comparison that will help you understand the two products better.
Tata Punch vs Tata Nexon Comparison - Design and Dimension
The Tata Punch follows what we call a modern SUV design language and gets a high-set hood along with bumper-mounted headlamps and prominent LED DRLs. The large grille at the front along with the humanity chrome line gives it a bold presence. The bulky bumper and the black plastic cladding gives it a tough and rugged look. A similar design is also seen on the Harrier. The car not only gets many upmarket features like projector headlamps, and contrast roof colour options. The side profile is dominated by large R-16 dual cut alloy wheels while the prominent cladding over the wheel arches and a high ground clearance helps the Punch look great.
