Courtesy of the same, we have spotted it on quite a few occasions already. Since exterior details are extensive, we will talk about the latest update on the inside, and well, something about the exterior too.
Let us look at the latest updates that we have.
Tata Safari Facelift New Updates
In an Instagram post by 95Pistons, they have the new Tata Safari facelift in camo plying on the roads. The immediate takeaway from these shots is the presence of sequential turn indicators. Since it was at the rear LED tail light housing, you can notice a fresh tail lamp unit as well.
As the vehicle reaches parallel to the test mule, you can see a blur light strip at the roof suggesting ambient lighting around the sunroof as well. Moreover, as it moves to the front, for some reason, the front indicators were not illuminated. It might be a makeshift temporary thing as well.

Previous Details
These latest updates come after the same was spotted testing in higher altitudes where the 19-inch alloys were visible. Both the Safari and Harrier facelift will be getting a new alloy setup. Also, a new 2-spoke steering wheel with illumination at its center has been spotted as well. It resembles the one seen on the Tata Nexon facelift. Going by the reports and developments, touch controls for the HVAC like the Tata Nexon facelift can be seen here as well.
Powertrain
Since this is a facelift and not a complete generation change, it will get the same 2.0 liter as the current model. It generates 168 Ps power with a peak torque of 350 Nm. It comes mated to a 6MT or a 6 AT gearbox. However, a new 1.5 L turbo petrol unit is on the cards as well which puts out 170 PS power with a torque of 250 Nm.
VERDICT- Since a lot of spy shots of the Safari facelift are with us, it is safe to say that the upcoming Safari will be a feast of features. With the SUV already updated with ADAS and a bigger infotainment screen with the Red Dark edition, this time, it's getting even better. Will it now surpass the numbers of the Mahindra XUV700? The package seems to have that in it as well. Also, you must join our Whatsapp Group Community of petrolheads to find out more exciting stuff about the Auto world.
