Tata Tiago has significantly improved its market value and ever since its facelift, the car looks better than before. Other than the facelift, Tata has always been bringing on some changes in the Tiago and this time around they have increased the prices. But with new prices come updated features and Tata Tiago XT becomes the value for money variant.
What are those features? To share you the details first make sure you are a member of our exclusive 91Wheels Whatsapp group where we share daily information on what's happening in the Indian Automotive Industry and bring you exclusives, modifications, news and much more.
Tata Tiago XT is the pocket saving variant and earlier the carmaker upgraded it with the steering mounted control a while ago. Yes, not only the steering looks impressive now but it is a safer choice too as the driver won't be distracted from the road by commanding functions from the infotainment unit. He/She can directly control is via the steering wheel.

Now, comes the addition and that is Tata has removed the older pull up / pull down door locks. In the early 2000s, we saw that on several cars but now they are long gone. It is a minimal change but speaks of how Tata is moving ahead with times.
Another edition is the new pads on the door panel. It just adds to a level of eliteness. They are not just for a show-off but the soft pad ensures that the driver can rest his/her hand on that whenever they are on a long journey and cruising on the highways. Please note that this change is still limited to front row only.
For these changes, Tata has hiked the prices of Tiago XT by a marginal Rs 1000-1500. While we are still focusing on the added features, the Indian carmaker has removed one here to accomodate these two features. It now misses out on the parcel tray which was used to keep small bags or light stuff.

Tiago is the only hatchback in its segment to receive a 4-star rating from Global NCAP thus making it the safer hatchback among all. Other features on this one include ABS with EBD, high speed alert system, rear parking sensors, Corner stability control, front seat belt reminders and among others.
