The first batch of the Tata Tigor EV has been delivered to the Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) in Delhi. Under the company's tender with EESL, Tata Motors will be delivering electric cars to the ministry. The first batch of the Tata Tigor EV was handed over to P.N. Ranjit Kumar, Joint Secretary (Admin), Ministry of AYUSH by Raj Kumar Luthra, General Manager at EESL. To push forward the idea of an e-mobility ecosystem called 'Tata uniEVerse', Tata Motors is closely working with other Tata Group companies like Tata Power, Tata Chemicals, Tata Autocomp, etc.
The Tata Tigor EV is powered by a 72V 3-phase AC induction motor which comes paired with a 21.5 kWh battery. The peak power output from this motor happens to be 41 Ps while the maximum torque output figures stand at 105 Nm. With a top speed of 80 kmph, the Tigor EV gets a maximum range of 213 km. This 21.5 kWh battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in just 2 hours with a fast charger while a normal charger will take 11.5 hours to charge the battery from 0 to 100 percent.

The brand is also offering a standard warranty of 3-year/1.25 lakh km on the Tigor EV. The battery of the vehicle also gets a similar warranty coverage. On the outside, the Tigor EV largely looks similar to the standard Tigor but does feature small design changes to distinguish it from the latter. The interior of the car too remains similar and gets height-adjustable driver's seat, automatic climate control, Harman audio setup, and more. In terms of safety, the car gets dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, rear parking sensors and seat belt reminder.
