Tata Motors has updated its electric sedan Tigor EV with new features and an enhanced range. The company has introduced the new Tigor EV, which has a tonne of new, high-end features and a 315 km range on a single charge. Additionally, the Tigor EV is now available in the recently added colour Magnetic Red. Prices for the four variants of the upgraded Tigor EV range from Rs. 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs. 13.75 lakh (ex-showroom).

2022 Tata Tigor EV Variants & Price
Variants of the new Tigor EV include the XE, XT, XZ+, and XZ+ Lux. The XE model is the entry-level model in the lineup, and the XZ+ Lux model is the top model which will get a contrast blackened roof, a leatherette interior, and other features.

2022 Tata Tigor EV Features
New features include Leatherette upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, rain-sensing wipers, auto headlamps, and cruise control are now included on the 2022 Tigor EV. The feature additions include Multi-Mode Regen, Connected Car Technology-Zconnect, Smartwatch Connectivity, iTPMS, and Tyre Puncture Repair Kit, which will be available across the range.

The current Tigor EV customers will also get some of the new features through a software update. Multi-Mode Regeneration, iTPMS, and Tyre Puncture Repair Kit are available for customers to enhance their vehicles with. Additionally, current owners of the XZ+ and XZ+ DT models can upgrade their smartwatch connectivity. Starting on December 20, 2022, this service can be obtained by going to any Tata Motors authorised service center.
2022 Tata Tigor EV Battery & Range
The 26 kWh high energy density liquid-cooled battery pack and IP67-rated motor are available with the 2022 Tigor EV. It produces 170 Nm of peak torque and 74 bhp of peak power. The new Tigor EV has a stated ARAI range of 315 km, up from its previous range of 306 km.
Verdict: With the Tiago, Tigor, and Nexon EVs, Tata Motors now holds the top spot in the electric four-wheeler market. The brand will be able to attract more customers thanks to the recently released Tigor EV upgrade.
