Renault will launch its all-new sub-4-metre compact SUV - Kiger in India on February 15, 2021. The Kiger will be powered by a BS6 compliant 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. This petrol motor will churn out 72 PS of maximum power and 96 Nm of peak torque. It will also get an all-new BS6 compliant 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. This turbo petrol motor will churn out 100 PS of maximum power and 160 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines will come mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. Also, while the naturally-aspirated petrol motor will get an optional AMT, the turbo petrol will get a CVT. The Renault Kiger is expected to be priced between Rs. 5.20 lakhs - Rs. 9.99 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.
Maruti Suzuki Swift Facelift
Expected Starting Price: Rs. 5.79 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi
Maruti Suzuki will soon launch the new facelifted Swift in India. The new 2021 Maruti Suzuki Swift Facelift will get subtle cosmetic updates, new features and a new powertrain. Currently, the Swift is powered by a BS6 compliant 1.2-litre K12B VVT motor that churns out 83 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. The upcoming Swift Facelift, on the other hand, will get a BS6 compliant 1.2-litre K12C Dual-jet motor from the Dzire and Baleno that will churn out 90 PS of power along with 113 Nm of peak torque. It will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and an automatic gearbox (AGS or auto gear shift in Maruti's words). The price of the new 2021 Maruti Suzuki Swift Facelift is expected to start from Rs. 5.79 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.
Tata Safari
Expected Starting Price: Rs. 14.99 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi
The all-new Tata Safari is expected to be launched in India on February 22, 2021. However, the exact launch date has not been officially confirmed by the company yet and it will be declared soon. The new Tata Safari will share its mechanicals with the Tata Harrier. It will be powered by the same new BS6-compliant 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. This BS6 diesel motor will churn out 170 PS of maximum power and a whopping 350 Nm of peak torque. The oil-burner will come mated to a six-speed manual gearbox and it will get a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission too. The new Tata Safari is expected to be priced between Rs. 14.99 lakhs - Rs. 21.50 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi and bookings for the same are already open.

MG Hector Petrol CVT
Expected Starting Price: Rs. 15.99 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi
Just last month, MG Motor India launched the new updated 2021 MG Hector series and now the company will launch a new transmission option for the same. The MG Hector currently gets a BS6 compliant 2.0-litre diesel engine that churns out 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of peak torque and it comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. It also gets a BS6 compliant 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine. This petrol motor churns out 143 PS of power and 250 Nm of peak torque and it is available with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system too. The non-hybrid petrol mill comes paired to a six-speed DCT and a six-speed manual gearbox while the petrol hybrid motor gets a six-speed manual gearbox only. However, now the petrol motor will get a CVT too and it will be sold alongside the Hector DCT. The new MG Hector Petrol CVT is expected to be priced from Rs. 15.99 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.
Citroen C5 Aircross
Expected Starting Price: Rs. 24.99 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi
Citroen is a new carmaker in the Indian market and it will make its official India debut with the Citroen C5 Aircross SUV. The new Citroen C5 Aircross will be launched in India by the end of this month or by early next month. The C5 Aircross will be powered by a BS6 compliant 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that will churn out 177 PS of maximum power and 400 Nm of peak torque. The engine will be mated to an eight-speed torque-converter automatic transmission. The C5 Aircross will have two drive modes - Eco and Sport. In addition, there will be Grip Control with 5 modes - Standard, Snow, All-Terrain (Mud, Damp Grass, etc), Sand and Traction Control off. The new Citroen C5 Aircross is expected to be priced from Rs. 24.99 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.
