Bajaj CNG Bike: Launch Date, Price, and Engine Details
Bajaj officials have recently spoken to a reputed TV channel, where the launch date of the CNG bike was revealed. As per the source, the bike is going to debut on 18 June 2024 in India. Ahead of its launch, Bajaj also plans to introduce the biggest engine Pulsar in the market. Other details like the pricing and engine were not shared by the officials. This brings us down to the fact that the CNG bike will launch within the next 3 months in India.
Undoubtedly, the CNG model by Bajaj is one of the most anticipated bike launches of this year. Spotted already quite a few times testing on the road, this upcoming model is expected to revolutionize the affordable commuter segment of bikes. The design details and features are largely unknown but it'll get a generic design that is probably based on the Bajaj CT 110X. The engine details are also unknown but as per Mr Rajiv Bajaj, it will be somewhere between 100cc-125cc.
While the speculations a lot regarding the specs and features, the spy shots have already revealed that it'll get an LED headlight. Moreover, it'll run on 17-inch alloy wheels, thus ruling out the tube-type tyres. Also, the front suspension will be a telescopic unit while the rear will get dual-shockers. It'll also get a front disc brake and a rear drum brake setup, hinting that there is also a possibility of a single-channel ABS to be offered.
Going to launch on 18 June 2024, the expected price bracket of this CNG bike will be between Rs 80,000 - Rs 90,000. The aggressive pricing strategy of Bajaj will be present with its launch. Currently, there are no rivals to this model in India but we can expect makers like Hero to enter the CNG bike market if Bajaj's experiment goes successful.
