Bajaj has pushed the launch of its most anticipated bike launch of this year. The upcoming Bajaj CNG bike which was scheduled to debut on June 18 has now been pushed to July 17. Bajaj CNG Bike - What To Expect?
As per the latest online reports, Bajaj has officially pushed the launch of its CNG bike. However, the reason behind this delay is unknown. There is no official information from Bajaj either. Cited to become the first-ever CNG motorcycle in India post-launch, this bike will be offered in various body styles. Upon its launch, it is expected to come in two iterations. While one model will be commuter-centric with a roadster design, the other model will offer a rugged appeal like the CT110X.
The test mules have been already spotted multiple times giving a rough idea about what to expect. As it'll be a budget bike, the main focus will be on the efficiency. Some online reports have claimed in the past that this engine will be twice or even more efficient than the petrol bikes of its segment. While the engine capacity of it is unknown, the speculations are that it'll use a 125cc sloper engine. There will be two fuel tanks, one main tank of CNG and a small petrol tank for the emergency.
Going by the spied test mules, we suspect that the CNG bike will be positioned in a tough segment of 110-125cc bikes. Popular models like the Honda Shine, Hero Super Splendor, and TVS Raider 125. The CNG tech will prove to be beneficial for the users with higher annual running. The fuel cost saving is the whole idea behind this bike.
Now scheduled to launch on July 17, Bajaj can position this motorcycle around the Rs 90,000 mark. With multiple variants, the CNG bike could be named 'Bruzer'.
