Mahindra XUV300 Facelift Details: Design, Features, and Price
Mahindra's one of the biggest launches this year is the new XUV300 facelift. The compact SUV has been under development for a long time now and the recent test mule spotting hint towards a soon launch. The latest spy shots showcase that it'll get a completely new front and rear design.
The front fascia will get LED headlights, a new bumper and a new overall shape. The side profile will look similar to the current model At the rear, it'll get a brand new LED taillight setup with a connected LED lightbar on the new boot design. On the inside, a new dashboard layout inspired by the XUV400 with a bigger infotainment screen, a digital instrument console, and more connected features will be offered.
Mahindra is expected to continue offering the same powertrain options as the current model. It'll be offered with two petrol and one diesel engine options. Along with these, a combination of 6-speed manual, and 6-speed AMT gearboxes will be offered.
The launch of this updated model is expected by June 2024. It'll rival popular cars like the Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, and Hyundai Venue. The pricing is expected to be a few thousand more than the current model.
Verdict
While Mahindra is known as SUV king in India, the XUV300 sales have been medicore for the company. This C-SUV now looks old and feels outdated to sit inside. With the updated model, Mahindra is bound to retreive its sales in the market.
