Going by the new spy pics, the design of the Hunter 350 is retro-modern with simplistic styling cues such as the round headlight, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a large single-seat, shrinker rear design, round LED taillight, single-sided upswept exhaust, etc. This upcoming new bike from Royal Enfield will use many shared components from the other J-series-based models like the Meteor 350 and the Classic 350.
Apart from this, it seems that Hunter will be using the twin-pod instrument cluster just like the Meteor meaning it'll feature techs like step-by-step navigation and Bluetooth connectivity. Royal Enfield has used twin-gas-charged suspension at the rear end with a swingarm suspended into the chassis. Braking duty is translated via the use of a single disc brake setup, both at the front and the rear tyres.
A few things to notice in the new spy photos are the differences from the previously spotted test bikes. Firstly, the new test bikes did not use the alloy wheels as spoked-wire rims were seen paying the command. Another thing to notice is the absence of the twin-grab rails as the currently spotted motorcycles were using single-pillion grab rails. Also, the previously spotted test motorcycle came equipped with circular indicators, while these test mules were fitted with rectangular turn indicators like the one's on the Interceptor 650.
Mechanically, the Hunter 350 will come equipped with an anticipated 350cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC engine which produces a peak power of 20.2 bhp and a peak torque of 27 Nm. This engine will be mated to a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox which shall use the slip-assist clutch for seamless power delivery to the rear wheel.
The expected launch of this motorcycle remains in the last quarter of the year 2022 which means by the Diwali festival season we could see the launch of the Hunter 350. Pricing shall remain under the belt of Meteor 350 and the Classic 350 motorcycles.
