Tata Punch EV Interior Spotted
The interior and exterior highlights of the upcoming Punch EV were revealed through a recently spotted test mule. The EV test vehicle showcased prominent cladding, squared wheel arches, and various design elements shared with its ICE counterpart. One notable distinction is the presence of aerodynamic wheels instead of alloy wheels, although these wheels bear a resemblance to the alloy wheel design.
On the interior, the most notable change is the two-spoke steering wheel, which was initially showcased in the Curvv concept by the brand. A similar steering wheel design has been observed on the test model of the Tata Nexon facelift. This two-spoke steering wheel includes touch controls and an illuminated Tata logo at its center. Additionally, there is a chance that the Punch EV will be equipped with an electronic parking brake. Other features are anticipated to be comparable to its ICE counterparts, such as a 7-inch touchscreen, IRA-connected technology, a cooled glove box, electrically adjustable outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs), and more.
Tata Punch EV Powertrain
The Punch EV is anticipated to be equipped with the Tata Ziptron powertrain, which is also utilized in other electric vehicles by Tata Motors. While the specific details regarding the powertrain are currently undisclosed, it is expected that the Punch EV will provide a range of approximately 300 km on a full charge.
