The Italian two-wheeler brand Vespa has launched its most expensive scooter, the Vespa 946 Dragon Edition in India. The limited-run Vespa 946 Dragon Collector's Edition is priced at Rs 14.28 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Indian market and will be accompanied by a Dragon Varsity jacket. Vespa 946 Dragon Edition
The new Vespa 946 Dragon Edition is painted in Golden colour and boasts an appealing Emerald coloured Dragon livery under the headlamp and side body panels. The scooter is fitted with a single seat and a luggage carrier at the back. The special edition scooter is hand-crafted in Italy and pays homage to the coming together of cultures, and innovation and shows a sense of energy and power. The scooter can be booked at Piaggio's any Motoplex showroom available in India.
The scooter is fitted with stylish 12-inch alloy wheels and is built on a metal-monocoque body. It gets a single leading-link shock upfront. It also gets a 220mm front disc brake. The new Dragon edition is powered by a 150cc engine.
The scooter is accompanied by Dragon inspired Varsity jacket which marks the brand's inaugural fashion offering for India. The jacket is made of ribbed wool and gets Nappa leather sleeves. It also gets dragon motif in Emerald green colour.

Verdict
The newly lanched Vespa 946 Dragon Edition is truly and collector's edition. The price of the scooter is exceptionally high which makes it brand's most costly scooter in the Indian market. The brand has not yet revealed if the scooter will be available in limited numbers in INdia or not but we anticipate it to be available in some limited units.
