The SUV comes in two variants, Eco and Plus, powered by a hefty 123 kWh battery with a dual electric motor that puts out 402 bhp power and an AWD drivetrain. While this big-size mover goes from 0 to 100 kmph in just 6.6 seconds, the range for the Eco variant is claimed to be 531 km on a single charge, it drops down to 468 km on the Plus variant. Vinfast VF3
The Vinfast VF3 is a compact electric vehicle that will take on the MG Comet EV but with a much more SUVish stance. Although the yellow color on the display looks a little quirky and playful, this will offer a much more serious look than its MG rival. While the prices stay under wraps for now, it gets 17-inch aero-cut alloys and an 18.94 kWh battery that claims a range of up to 215 km on a single charge.
Verdict
The entry of Vinfast in India is looking pretty solud with the kind of experience that it brings retailing internationally, where the emerging electric four wheler market is taking its shape. Can it replace a primary car of a household today, maybe not, but the kind of specs and range details are coming up, there could be a day soon in future that could see that happening.
