Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line
The Tiguan R-Line will be brought here via a CBU unit along with the Golf GTI. The great news is that Volkswagen is finally launching the third generation of the Tiguan, which was showcased internationally in 2023. In India, we currently have the second-generation facelift, which is now five years old and, honestly, looks too old-school.

The Tiguan R-Line looks bulkier, supported by a more curvaceous design, and the massive piano black grille creates a dramatic impact. Regarding the engine option, it will feature the same 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine with an AWD setup and an 8-speed DCT. Even the current Tiguan is powered by the 2.0L engine, producing 190 PS and 320 Nm of torque.

Talking about the teaser, VW shows the Tiguan R-Line, which will be the company's first R-Line product coming to life - starting up, with the RPMs revving, creating a striking frame. Well, this teaser was just meant to give a hint of the upcoming model, but the more interesting part is that it will be an all-new car.

Verdict
With the Tiguan R-Line and limited units of the Golf GTI, the VW brand is ready to make a lot of noise in the industry, as the world bows down to the Golf GTI and counts it among the best driver's cars to ever exist. Also, what VW is doing is noteworthy, as almost every automaker is trying to sell vehicles that appeal to the masses, including families, middle-aged men, and older people. On the other hand, this brand is focused on bringing the most fun-to-drive cars, catering to young people who love speed and dynamism.
