The Yezdi Scrambler comes with a 334 cc engine, and the Royal Enfield comes with a 349 cc engine. Which one will win in this race?
The new Yezdi Scrambler is the most affordable scrambler available in the Indian market, and it is one of its kinds. The Royal Enfield Meteor is based on the erstwhile Thunderbird, and it now features an entirely new chassis and engine. The Meteor is also quicker than the current-generation RE Classic 350. But is it quicker than the Yezdi Scrambler? Yezdi Scrambler
The Yezdi Scrambler uses the same 334 cc engine also found in the Jawa Perak. But in the Scrambler it has been tuned with peppy character, wherein it produces 29.1 Ps@8000 rpm and 28.2 Nm of torque @6,750 rpm. The Scrambler gets a noticeably flatter torque curve, which makes it properly suited for highway cruising. In the video above, the pace is clearly evident and since both peak torque and power hits for quite longer rpm, it sustains its momentum over the long stretch pretty well.

Royal Enfield Meteor
The Royal Enfield Meteors new J-series engine, on the other hand, is not quite as quick as the Scrambler. The 349 cc engine in this cruiser produces 20.4 Ps@ 6100 RPM and 27 Nm of torque@6100 RPM. The lack of power and torque is clearly evident in the video above, where the Meteor is left far behind in the race.
