Exterior Looks and Design
A bold and an imposing front fascia of the Freestyle gives it a unique stance and a great road presence. The black grille and the faux skid plate at the front complement the overall look. Move to the sides and you will observe that the R15 alloy wheels look really nice while the all-around cladding on the vehicle gives it a raw look. The panel gaps are even all around and the paint quality is of top grade as well.

Interiors
The Ford Freestyle gets an all-black cabin with dark brown inserts. The seats are comfortable and there is ample amount of space is there in the front and the rear. The fit and finish levels too are great and at par with segment standards. In all, the Freestyle is a comfortable and spacious car which offers supreme quality levels. However, there are a couple of blind spots which may hamper the overall visibility.
Engine, Gearbox, and Performance
The Ford Freestyle can be had with either a 1.2-L Dragon petrol engine or a 1.5-L TDCi diesel engine. The peak power and torque output from the 1.2-L naturally aspirated engine stand at 96 PS and 119 Nm respectively while the diesel engine delivers a maximum power output of 100 PS. The peak torque figures of the diesel engine stand at 215 Nm. It is worth noting the fact that none of these engines comes mated to an automatic gearbox and are offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Talking about the fuel economy figures, the petrol engine gets certified ARAI mileage of 18.5 kmpl while the diesel engine delivers 23.8 kilometres to a litre. Both these engines are powerful and fun to drive but it is the diesel that has impressed us with its performance and refinement.
