Soon, one more compact SUV will go on sale in the country and it will be the all-new Nissan Magnite. The Nissan Magnite will be the first big launch from the company after a really long time. It will be launched in India tomorrow, i.e. on December 2, 2020. Looks and Colour Options

The Nissan Magnite is a very handsome looking sub-compact SUV. It looks quite unique and has a rugged appeal. At the front, the Magnite gets a big bold octagon-shaped grille, sharp headlamps and large L-shaped daytime running LEDs. The fog lamps of the car are placed on the lower half of the body. The new Nissan Magnite has a tall-boy stance and it gets a unique design for the alloy wheels. At the rear, the urban compact SUV gets LED taillamps, a roof-mounted spoiler, bold cuts and creases, dual-tone paint scheme, etc. The Magnite also gets body-cladding all-around and skid plates at the front and rear.

Talking about the colour options, it will be available in a total of eight different colour shades, out of which four will be mono-tone colours and four will be dual-tone paint jobs. The dual-tone colour schemes are Flare Garnet Red with Onyx Black, Vivid Blue with Storm White, Tourmaline Brown with Onyx Black and Pearl White with Onyx Black. Thanks to these funky colour options and youthful design language, the new Nissan Magnite will have a great road presence.

Engine and Transmission Options

The soon to be launched all-new 2020 Nissan Magnite will get two petrol engine options with two different transmission options. It will be powered by a BS6-compliant 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. This motor will churn out 72 PS of power at 6250 RPM and 96 Nm of peak torque at 3500 RPM. It will also get a new 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. This turbo petrol motor will churn out 100 PS of maximum power at 5000 RPM and 160 Nm of peak torque at 2800 - 3600 RPM (152 Nm of torque at 2200 - 4400 RPM for CVT). Both the engines will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and the turbo petrol will also get a CVT. Features

Now, talking about features, the new Nissan Magnite will be fairly equipped with goodies. It will get a big 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Some other features of the Magnite will include an all-digital instrument cluster, JBL speakers, 360-degree parking camera, Nissan Connet tech, cruise control, air purifier, sound mood lighting, etc. Nissan will also offer a Tech Pack for the car that will add some more goodies to this compact SUV. It is worth mentioning that the Magnite won't be a very feature-rich car, but it will get all the features and some more that you can expect at this price range and this brings us to our final point which is its price.

Price, Launch Date, Bookings and Deliveries

Now, finally coming to our last point, so the official India launch and the price announcement of the all-new 2020 Nissan Magnite BS6 will take place tomorrow, i.e. on December 2, 2020. However, its variant-wise prices have already leaked on the internet and it is expected to be priced between Rs. 5.50 lakhs - Rs. 9.55 lakhs. All prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi. At this price point, it will be the most affordable sub-compact SUV in India. The bookings for the Nissan Magnite are already open and you can book it by paying a token amount of 11,000 rupees. Its test drives will start from tomorrow at all Nissan dealerships across the country and the deliveries are expected to commence from January 2021.
