Nissan will launch its first sub-4-metre compact SUV very soon in the Indian market. The sub-4-metre compact SUVs are very popular in India. Currently, this segment is booming at a rapid pace, it is a highly lucrative category and so more and more carmakers are launching their sub-compact SUVs in the Indian market. The Magnite will be the first big launch from the company after a really long time. The upcoming Nissan Magnite will be launched in India on December 2, 2020. Now, as per a media report, the customer test drive of the 2020 Nissan Magnite BS6 will also begin on the very same day.
Nissan India is betting big on its all-new upcoming sub-4-metre compact SUV - Magnite. The company is marketing the Magnite with a funky tagline #IgniteYourCarisma. The new Nissan Magnite is a bold sub-compact SUV. It looks really very good, gets two petrol engine options with two different transmission options and is decently equipped with features.

Talking about the specs of this car, so the new Nissan Magnite SUV will get two petrol engine options. It will be powered by a BS6-compliant 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. This motor will churn out 72 PS of power at 6250 RPM and 96 Nm of peak torque at 3500 RPM. It will also get a new 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. This turbo petrol motor will churn out 100 PS of power at 5000 RPM and 160 Nm of peak torque at 2800 - 3600 RPM (152 Nm of torque at 2200 - 4400 RPM for CVT). Both the engines will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and the turbo petrol gets a CVT too.
Talking about its features, it will get a big 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Some other features of the Magnite include an all-digital instrument cluster, JBL speakers, 360-degree parking camera, Nissan Connet tech, cruise control, air purifier, sound mood lighting, etc. Finally, talking about the price and launch date, so as already mentioned before, the new Nissan Magnite will be launched in India on December 2, 2020. Its prices have already leaked on the internet and it is expected to be priced between Rs. 5.50 lakhs - Rs. 9.55 lakhs. All prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi.

The pre-launch bookings for the new Magnite are already open at all Nissan dealerships across the country. One can book it by paying a token amount of Rs. 11,000 - Rs. 25,000 (depending on the Nissan dealership). The test drive facility of the new 2020 Nissan Magnite BS6 for the prospective customers will also begin from December 2, 2020.
