Jawa Motorcycles has today launched the new 2021 Jawa Forty-Two BS6 and its price starts at Rs. 1.84 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. The new Jawa Forty-Two gets several cosmetic updates, new features and an updated powertrain. Read along to find out what's new in the 2021 Jawa Forty-Two.
The company has today launched the new Jawa Forty-Two and according to the bikemaker, this marks the arrival of Jawa 2.1. The first and the major change on the new Jawa Forty-Two is the way it looks. While its predecessor got plenty of chrome accents, spoke wheels, tubed tyres, etc., the new one gets a lot of black accents. The new Forty-Two gets three new colour shades. They are AllStar Black, Orion Red and Sirius White. Also, a grey-coloured stripe runs across the length of the motorcycle with number 42 badging on the fuel tank which gives it a unique appeal.

The new Fory-Two gets a lot of blacked-out elements too like the blacked-out dual exhaust, radiator shrouds and even the suspension components both at the front as well as at the rear are finished in black. The Forty-Two now bids adieu to the spoke wheels and tubed tyres and instead, it now gets new 13-spoke blacked-out alloy wheels shod with tubeless tyres. It even gets a new trip meter as standard and the company claims that even the seat has been improved. Jawa is also offering several new accessories with the 2021 Forty-Two which include a tinted flyscreen, headlamp grille, and custom-made saddlebags.
Talking about the powertrain of the motorcycle, so the Jawa Forty-Two gets a BS6 compliant 293cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This new mill churns out 27.33 PS of maximum power (+0.82 PS) and 27.05 Nm (-0.03) of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. The company claims that it features a repositioned lambda sensor which will result in crisper throttle response. The bikemaker also says that the riders would feel a noticeable punch in the mid-range and more throaty exhaust note. The suspension has been retuned for better ground clearance.
Finally, talking about the price, so the price new 2021 Jawa Forty-Two BS6 starts at Rs. 1.84 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. At this price point, it is around 10,000 rupees more expensive than its predecessor.
