Toyota recently revealed the much-awaited Fortuner facelift for the Thai market and also introduced a sportier trim called the 'Legender'. Toyota will also launch the updated Fortuner in India next year but till then, we brought you the details about the official accessories from Toyota for the 2021 Fortuner facelift.

Talking about the exterior accessories first, they help the SUV to look much more rugged and macho. The front gets an option of 'FORTUNER' lettering in either gloss black and chrome, fog lamp housing with black inserts, front bumper with faux skid plate and TRD badges. The side profile can be accessorised with TRD stickers, footboard, black cladding, mud board, door handle anti-scratch protection, door corner protection and fuel lid protectors.

Other exterior accessories include blind spot mirrors for ORVMs and side visors. The rear can be accessorised with TRD boot lid sticker, scratch-proof boot film, decorative set for the rear bumper, chrome muffler for exhaust, taillamps chrome garnish, handsfree boot release sensor and spare tyre cover.
Toyota also offers interior accessories for the 2021 Fortuner facelift like USB car charger, front and back camera recording, camera-based IRVM (Inside Rear View Mirror), wireless charger, TRD scuff plates and vinyl floor mats. Toyota hasn't really changed the look of the interior of the Toyota Fortuner and it still follows the same design as before.
Talking about the Fortuner facelift, it received a new 2.8-litre diesel engine which now produces 201 BHP and 500 Nm of torque @ 1600-2800 rpm mated to 6-speed automatic gearbox. Toyota offers both 2WD and 4WD trims but no manual option.When the Fortuner facelift will be launched in India, we will get both manual and automatic transmission options, however, there is no confirmation for the more powerful 2.8-litre engine.

Right now, we get a 2.8-litre diesel engine in the Indian Fortuner which produces 175 BHP and 420 Nm / 450 Nm of torque with 6-speed manual / 6-speed automatic transmissions. We expect Toyota to launch the Fortuner facelift in India next year with some big changes in terms of design. Toyota may also bring the Legender trim in the Indian market.
