As can be seen, the Maruti Ignis returns the highest mileage of 20.89 kmpl for both manual transmission and AMT. Nissan Magnite gets two engine options - 1.0L non-turbo petrol that delivers 18.75 kmpl and 1.0L turbo petrol that gives 20 kmpl as ARAI certified fuel economy. For the 1.0L turbo petrol CVT, the ARAI-certified mileage sticks to 17.7 kmpl.

Citroen C3 will be made available in two engine options - 1.2L non-turbo that will deliver 19.8 kmpl and for the 1.2L turbo petrol it gives out 19.4 kmpl. Its closest competitor, Tata punch delivers 18.98 kmpl for the 5-speed manual and 18.82 kmpl for the AMT. It is powered by a sole 1.2L petrol motor.

As can be seen, it is the Citroen C3 that generates more power and torque figures with its 1.2L turbocharged petrol motor. It puts out as much as 109 bhp of power with a peak torque of 190 Nm. On the other hand, the 1.0L, three-cylinder turbo petrol unit of the Magnite belts out 99 bhp of power with a maximum torque of 160 Nm with the 5-speed manual and 152 Nm with the CVT.

The bookings for the upcoming 2022 Citroen C3 will commence on July 1 and the vehicle will be launched on July 20. We expect the prices of the upcoming car to be priced between Rs 5.50 lakh to Rs 8 lakh. It will be made available in two variants - Live and Feel.
