Destined to launch in the South American markets at first, the new variant will mostly be a cosmetic upgrade. Hyundai enjoys a big market in South America, and the N-Line variant is straightway heading there first. Although, we expect that the European & Asian car markets won't be far from the launch after then.
Coming down to the changes to expect, it will be mostly like the Hyundai i20 N-Line. Redesigned front & rear bumpers, a new set of alloy wheels, bumper lips, quad exhaust tips, interior theme change, maybe a new steering wheel, and stiffer suspension are utmost we expect. The global reports over the internet suggest that Hyundai will use 2.0-Lt turbocharged petrol for the South American model.
As the test car shows, more blacked-out parts will enhance the sporty appeal of the SUV. For India, we anticipate that the 1.4-Lt turbocharged petrol engine will be used for the N-Line variant. This engine produces a peak power of 138 hp & 242.2 Nm of peak torque. A 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox with paddle shifters will be offered as standard.
Hyundai is also planning to launch the new 2022 Venue this month. The compact SUV will also get the N-Line treatment as speculated. The main rivals for the upcoming Creta N-Line will include the KIA Seltos & MG Astor. The test car seems production-ready, this means the launch is nearing. Along with the global debut, India's launch of the N-Line Creta is not far.
