Hyundai recently announced the entry of the updated Creta by 2022. The platform and other mechanicals will remain the same whereas the exterior design will be tweaked. Hyundai Creta facelift will be introduced in the markets by 2022 and will be showcased at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) organised in the month of November 2021. The upcoming facelift Creta has been spotted several times in South Korea and Indonesia. The upcoming version will notice several changes at the exteriors over the existing one.

The spied images show that the car will come equipped with a completely new grille design and new headlights. Creta facelift front looks are inspired by the new-generation Tucson. At the rear, the tail lamps have been updated. The front and rear bumper design has been tweaked a little. The spied model is camouflaged with an Indonesian map printed over it. Any information regarding the change in specifications has not yet been revealed.
The existing Hyundai Creta is available with three engine options 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that churns out 115 PS of maximum power and 144 Nm of peak torque, 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine that churns out 140 PS of maximum power and 242 Nm of peak torque, and a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel unit that churns out 115 PS of maximum power and 250 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a six-speed manual, a CVT, a 6-speed AT, and a 7-speed DCT depending on the chosen variant.

The facelift Creta is expected to launch in the Indian market by second half of 2022. Powertrains are expected to remain the same as before whereas interiors are expected to notice slight changes in the interior. There is a possibility that the infotainment system, upholstery and digital console get an update.
As per speculations, the new Creta would come with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) as it is already introduced in the Indian markets by Mahindra and MG Motors.
