Hyundai brought in the 2022 Venue on June 16th and not only does it come with a revamped design, updated features but even with a better fuel economy than before. In this article, we take you through the fuel economy of each engine and their power and torque figures.
Hyundai Venue is offered with three engine options -
1.2L petrol generating 82 bhp of power with 114 Nm of peak torque. This engine delivers 17 kmpl. It gets mated to a 5-speed manual transmission only.
The 1.0L turbo petrol is the most powerful engine of the lot and it belts out 118 bhp of power with a maximum torque of 172 Nm. This motor delivers 18 kmpl with the 6-speed iMT and 18.3 kmpl with the 7-speed DCT.

The 1.5L turbocharged diesel engine produces a peak power and torque of 99 bhp and 250 Nm respectively. It delivers an ARAI-certified fuel economy of 22.7 kmpl.
Feature-wise, the 2022 Venue is equipped with an electric sunroof, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, air purifier, digital instrument cluster, LED projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, cruise control, drive modes, 16-inch alloy wheels and more.
Safety equipment on the Venue includes six airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system, an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, rear parking sensors, a front seat-belt reminder, a high-speed alert system, speed-sensing door locks and more.

Hyundai Venue is priced from Rs 7.53 lakh and goes up to Rs 12.72 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. This compact SUV rivals Maruti Brezza, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon and Kia Sonet.
