The 2022 Hyundai Venue has gained quite some popularity ever since it was launched on June 16. The bookings for the compact SUV have already surpassed the 15,000 mark and the South Korean carmaker claims that nearly 30 percent of customers are first-time buyers. On our YouTube channel, we've covered the top-of-the-line variant walkaround of the SUV and in this article, we will show you how the second to the base trim, S of the 2022 Hyundai Venue looks and what feature it gets.
This S trim, in particular, is one of the most affordable options available in the Venue line-up and it sits above the base E variant. This variant is available with one engine option which is a 1.2L naturally-aspirated petrol that makes 82 bhp of power and 114 Nm of peak torque. It gets mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
At the front, this trim now gets the parametric theme grille that is also found in the SX(O) variant and it continues with the split headlight design as before. The front bumper is now new and gets a faux skid plate that gives the S trim a sportier look.

Move towards the side profile and here you get 15-inch steel wheels with wheel caps and the dimension of the tyre measures 195/65. This variant also comprises a shark fin antenna and roof rails. The rear profile gets halogen taillights unlike the LED found in the top variant. Furthermore, the full-length bar spread connecting the taillights does not glow in this trim.
On the inside, the all-black cabin has been replaced by two-tone black and beige colour scheme. This does make the cabin airy on certain levels. It also gets an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, steering-mounted audio controls, a digital instrument cluster, type-C charging ports and more.
