2022 JAWA 42 Bobber bike has launched in India for just Rs 2.06 lakh. The new Bobber gets distinctive styling in addition to the updated tech.
As the rivals are turning out new products every now and then; Jawa has updated its lineup as well. The 2022 Jawa 42 Bobber has debuted in India for Rs 2.06 lakh. The new bobber is cheaper than the Perak and offers distinctive styling. Jawa has also updated the Bobber with new tech and features.

Jawa 42 Bobber Design Details
Speaking of its design, the Bobber is much different than the Jawa Perak. Whilst Perak was known as the bobber bike until now; the 42 Bobber has taken the game one step ahead. A lot of design elements are now all new. The front is all new with a different round LED headlight. The fuel tank is sculpted and gets thigh support rubber for more grip. There are also knee recesses on the fuel tank.
The single seat is now more wide and big in size. Additionally, the rear tail now gets a long fender with a carriage bolted on. This makes it look like a proper 60s bobber bike. Meanwhile, the taillight and turn indicators are also LED units. The exhaust cans are also revised in styling. They sound more bassy also. Other design cues include the use of bar end mirrors, a digital instrument pod, & short tubular handlebar.
Jawa 42 Bobber is available in two single-tone and one dual-tone colour options:
- Mystic Cooper - Rs 2,06,500
- Moonstone White - Rs 2,07,500
- Japer Red - Rs 2,09,187
Engine & Specifications
Powering the 42 Bobber is the same powerplant as seen on the Jawa 42. This 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine makes a peak power of 30.64 PS and 32.74 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 6-speed transmission. Jawa also offers a slipper-assist clutch function as standard on it.
Additionally, it gets revised seating position and ergonomics. The footpegs and the handlebar calibration have been redone for more comfort. The front suspension is a telescopic unit. The rear suspension uses a single monoshock unit. Dual-channel ABS is also offered as standard on the new 42 Bobber.
Its main rivals in India are - Royal Enfield Meteor, Yezdi Roadster, & Keeway V302C.
