Kia Seltos is ready to receive its mid-life update in 2022 and the brand will add some new features and updates to the 2022 facelift. In India, the Kia Seltos is a stunning product from the Korean automaker. In terms of design and features, the new Seltos facelift will have a few changes. Recently, a leaked document with new features details across the 2022 Kia Seltos trim has surfaced online.

The MY2022 Seltos will have enhanced suspension across all the variants according to a document. Kia is also expected to offer a new 1.5-litre diesel HTK+ model, which will come with an Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT).
Feature updates in the 2022 Seltos will include TPMS, rear disc brakes, side airbags, ESC, vehicle stability management, hill assist control, and brake assist as standard equipment across all models. Curtain airbags will be available starting with the HTX+ trim, with Traction/Drive Modes and paddle shifters also available in the HTX trims automatic variants.
The X Line Seltos will include the X Line logo on the Indigo Pera seats, as well as new Seltos and Kia Connect logos and a new IRVM with Kia Connect button. New 16-inch wheel covers will be available for the HTE and HTK models. Two additional colour options for the 2022 Seltos will be available: Sparkling Silver and Imperial Blue.
Mechanically, the new Kia Seltos facelift for 2022 is expected to be unaltered. The 113 bhp 1.5-litre normally aspirated petrol, 138 bhp 1.4-litre turbo petrol, and 113 bhp 1.5-litre diesel engines will all be used in the SUV. The present model's transmissions will also be carried over. The gearbox options, which include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT automatic, 6-speed IVT torque converter, and 7-speed DCT automatic gearboxes, will all stay the same.

The brand has not disclosed any timeline for the launch of the Seltos facelift but the facelift is expected to be launched by the end of this year. The makeover is expected to be slightly more expensive, with prices ranging from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 19 lakh in India.
