Mahindra has finally launched the XUV300 TurboSport and the bookings for the same are now open. The deliveries too are underway and it is the most powerful C-SUV in the market right now. It directly competes with Hyundai Venue N Line and Kia Sonet X Line. As can be seen, XUV300 TurboSport is offered with a petrol motor only while the Kia Sonet X Line gets both petrol and diesel engine options. The 1.2L three-pot mStallion TGDi motor of the XUV300 TurboSport is the most powerful as it belts out 129 bhp of power with a peak torque of 230 Nm.
As far as Sonet X Line is concerned then the 1.0L turbocharged petrol motor of the same generates a peak power and torque of 118 bhp and 172 Nm, respectively. It gets mated to a 7-speed DCT. The diesel is the same as sourced from Kia Seltos and produces 113 bhp of power with a peak torque of 250 Nm. It gets mated to a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
