2022 Maruti Brezza sunroof spied before launch. Already in its production-ready stage, Maruti Suzuki C-SUV Vitara Brezza is about to make a comeback in an updated and more advanced form.
To compete with the segment which has already updated itself with newer technologies, Maruti has upgraded Brezza with the latest features such as a sunroof. This makes the new 2022 Brezza be the first Maruti Suzuki ever to host a sunroof.
What we know so far is that the new Brezza shall launch before the mid of 2022. In its new iteration, Brezza will host multiple changes hence making it a completely different car from the current generation.
2022 Brezza Design
Although, the body shell will remain the same as the new Brezza is based on the same platform as that of the current generation; the design, on the other hand, is completely different.
A completely new front fascia with eyebrow shaped dual LED DRL's and projector headlamps, a newly designed front grille, new bumper, redesigned foglamp housings, subtle changes to bonnet and fender lines are readily visible in the spy shots.
Coming to rear, Maruti has dropped the 'Vitara' moniker and the new car now only features 'Brezza' embedded over a wide plate between the newly designed long-swept LED tail lights. New rear spoiler meshed with curvy boot lines are prominent in the new car. One can also spot the reworked bumper with reflector housings to provide the 2022 Brezza more muscular and upmarket look.

2022 Brezza Interiors & Features
Major changes can be spotted inside which includes a newly designed dashboard hosting a large touch screen infotainment system in the center, piano-black inserts, a completely semi-digital instrument cluster, a new steering wheel which is already seen on the current generation Ertiga and Swift, and most importantly a sunroof as well. This will make the 2022 Brezza the first Maruti ever to come equipped with a sunroof.
Also suspected, is the addition of safety features such as the SOS system. As seen in the segment above cars, such an SOS system help track the car and passengers in times of an emergency within a very short time. This system sends an automated message to the 24X7 open helpline of the company which further alerts the concerned authorities ensuring fast response management.
All these new additions will pump up the Brezza in terms of an upgrade as well as sales-wise making the upcoming C-SUV one of the most feature-rich in the segment.
2022 Brezza Engine & Gearbox
In terms of technical specifications, we expect the new upcoming car to have no major changes. The currently used 1.5 Lt-naturally aspirated petrol engine shall continue being used in the new car as well. Good for 105 HP of peak power & 138 NM of peak torque, this engine is known for its reliability and superior refinement levels.
A 5-speed manual and 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox as seen over the current model is expected to feature as it is in the upcoming car. Although, we suspect the use of Smart Hybrid Technology to be used for achieving better fuel economy figures.
