As can be seen, the upcoming Maruti Grand Vitara delivers a mileage of 27.97 kmpl with the 1.5L Electric hybrid motor. It is the highest mileage of any mass market SUV present in the Indian market. This engine is mated to an e-CVT gearbox only.
The 1.5L Petrol motor delivers 20.58 kmpl with the 6-speed AT and 21.11 kmpl with the 5-speed MT. There's also an AWD motor that is available with 5-speed MT and it delivers 19.38 kmpl. This is the same engine as found in the Maruti Brezza, XL6 and Ertiga.

As can be seen, the 1.5L electric hybrid of the Grand Vitara produces 114 bhp of power on tap with a peak torque of 122 Nm while the 1.5L petrol belts out a peak power and torque of 102 bhp and 136.8 Nm. The strong hybrid motor gets mated to an e-CVT unit while the petrol gets 5-speed MT as standard and 6-speed AT as an option.
