Royal Enfield is set to release an array of new vehicles in 2022. Many of them were seen by enthusiasts while on a test or being transferred to a dealer. Among these new vehicle releases, the brand is expected to release a new 650cc cruiser series bikes. This will include a 650cc variant of the Meteor, a retro-styled bobber, and a modern classic roadster. Previously, the Super Meteor cruiser 650 and Shotgun 650 have been seen in different spy images. Recently, an iteration of Royal Enfield Classic 650 has been spied.
Royal Enfield Classic 650 Design and Specifications
It was expected that the incoming Classic 650 would keep the new-generation Classic 350's looks. Looking at the new spy shots it is clear that the upcoming Classic 650 will feature a classic design template that is synonymous with the brand. A circular headlamp and taillight, large front and rear fenders, dual exhaust pipes and mufflers, and a cruiser-like posture are all frequent features.

The footpegs are situated in the middle and the handlebar is lowered somewhat lower in the latest spy images, giving it a slightly committed yet comfortable riding posture. The cruiser in this segment has forward-set footpegs and taller handlebars for a more relaxing riding position. In addition, the design of the exhaust canisters in the latest spy photos is similar to that of the Classic 350. It has dual-tone alloy wheels and LED headlights and taillights. With a digital and analogue console and Tripper Navigation, the instrument cluster is comparable to those of modern Royal Enfield motorcycles.

The present generation of Royal Enfield 650 twins are powered by a 648cc parallel-twin engine and the upcoming Classic 650 will be powered by the same. With a slipper and assist clutch, this motor produces 47 bhp and 52 Nm of peak torque when connected to a 6-speed gearbox. In the following months, further information on the 650cc bikes is expected.
