Redesigned front and rear bumpers, new alloy wheels, and other aesthetic modifications will all be included in the upcoming facelift. The brand may also change up its feature selection, and new features like ventilated seats, wireless charging, and other convenience features are anticipated. In terms of safety, Honda may include Level 1 ADAS technologies in the ICE variant, comparable to what is seen in the Hybrid variant.

If the rumours are to be believed, the manufacturer will launch new variants for the Honda City Hybrid. Currently, the top-of-the-line ZX model is the only one with a hybrid powertrain. A 1.5-liter petrol engine with the Atkinson Cycle and an electric motor power the Honda City Hybrid. The engine has an output of 126 bhp and is mated to an e-CVT transmission.

Due to the upcoming RDE regulations, Honda is about to stop selling the Honda City's diesel engine from April 2023. The petrol engine will remain the same 1.5-liter NA model that produces 121 bhp of output and 145 Nm of maximum torque. A 6-speed manual and a CVT transmission are included with the engine.

Verdict: Honda City is one of the most premium-looking mid-size sedans available in the Indian market. The sedan will get a facelift soon, making it more feature-rich and modern. Additionally, Honda is preparing to introduce a brand-new SUV in India. The brand has not yet confirmed which one of the upcoming SUVs will be the updated WR-V SUV or the HR-V.
