Just a few months back, Honda Activa came up with its Activa H-Smart, the fully loaded, keyless ( remote) scooter. And the buyers were excited. Cut short to now, another Honda scooter enters the H-Smart elite club. Yes, the forever-loved Honda Dio now gets the H-Smart treatment and its launch price stands at Rs. 77.7 thousand. On top of that, it will now be rolling on alloys as well.
But if you're wondering what more features it gets, you are at the right spot. Let's quickly brief you about the new features.
Honda Dio Gets H-Smart-er Than Before

Powertrain And Details - Same Mechanicals, Now With Alloys
Complementing all this tech is the inclusion of all new Alloy wheels which adds a more sporty appeal to the scooter. The engine is the same as before, but now with OBD-2 compliance. It gets a 110 cc engine that puts out 7.76PS and 9Nm as the standard model.
The pre-OBD units still retail on the website but will be available only till the stocks last. The pre-OBD 2 standard model is priced at Rs 68,625 and the DLX variant is priced at Rs 72,626 ex-showroom.
VERDICT- The response to the H-smart variants of Activa seems to be the underlying reason for this update. And why not, who doesn't want to remotely control their scooters? This feature could soon be making its way over to other OEMs as well. It directly rivals the Hero Xoom, which was launched a few months back. You can still get your hands on the pre-OBD units at a lower price as well.
