2023 Honda HR-V has been revealed globally. The new crossover SUV features a host of changes. But, will it make it to the Indian market? Read details below.
The uber-popular crossover from Honda has debuted in its newest avatar. The 2023 Honda HR-V SUV has been revealed internationally; creating a buzz of its own. Hosting a new athletic design layout and a new powertrain; the latest iteration is completely improved than the current generation car.
Introduced recently in the US market, the new HR-V is now bigger in size and bolder in design. Although, Honda has still not revealed the exact dimensional details of the new car but the overall silhouette is now bigger. The front design now embeds a wider grille, C-shaped wide headlights with all-LED setup, revised front bumper, and the bonnet lines are also now more muscular.

On the side profile, the single bodyline that runs from the front fender to the rear fender is more curvy and butch; providing a more muscular appeal to the car. Alloy wheels have also been revised with a diamond-cut 5-spoke design. At the rear end, the stretched-out LED taillights and upright-set rear bumper is gives the SUV a more mature look.
Talking about the powertrain, Honda has been using a 1.8-Lt petrol engine on the current-gen car which produces peak power of 141 hp. This engine is now anticipation for a way out as the reports over the internet suggest that a new 2.0-Lt petrol engine making 158 hp of peak power might make its way underneath the hood of the new HR-V. Also, the anticipation relies upon that a 1.5-Lt, the turbo-petrol engine might also make it along with the launch of the new HR-V.

Honda sells the HR-V internationally and the SUV has been selling in decent numbers around the globe. From the USA to the Asian markets, the HR-V is known for its reliability and no-nonsense nature, thus, making it a strong opponent for the segment rivals.

A combination of Honda's reliable petrol and diesel engines along with choices of manual and automatic transmissions in the HR-V can become a game-changer for Honda in the Indian market. For now, the HR-V SUV will launch in global markets only.
