While the C-segment sedan culture is nearing its end, Hyundai is still reluctant to invest in it. How? Well, the 2023 Hyundai Verna facelift has been spied on yet again. This means that the updated Verna is coming soon to the market. The test mule which is spied looks almost production-ready. It seems that the car is undergoing final rounds of testing. The all-new Verna will get a new design and added features like ADAS.

2023 Hyundai Verna Details
The spied test mule was seen coming out from the company's production plant. This plant also has an R&D center for new car development. However, the new Verna test car is completely camouflaged but there are some visible details. This first known fact is that it will have a new design. Additionally, it is going to have a parametric jewel front grille as seen on the latest Hyundai cars like the Tucson, etc. Meanwhile, the alloy wheels are also new and seem diamond cut. However, the rear is now more coupe-like in design as it seems that Hyundai will be providing more rear seat space on it.
The interiors of the new Verna will be completely revised. We are expecting it to get shared styling of interiors as seen on the Tucson and the upcoming 2023 Hyundai Creta as well. Additionally, the space management is also going to get revised for a more spacious cabin. Hyundai is likely to enrich its cabin with more features like a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, 360-degree parking assist, etc. Additionally, it is widely reported that it will also get ADAS and even adaptive cruise control. Hyundai might also fit a lane assist camera as seen on the Hyundai Alcazar SUV.
2023 Verna Engine & Specifications
Meanwhile, the powertrain options on the new Verna are likely to remain the same. The 1.5-lt petrol and diesel engine options shall remain persistent on the updated car as well. However, we expect that Hyundai might equip it with a mild-hybrid motor for more fuel economy. Additionally, a 1.0-lt turbo petrol engine shall also be offered with a possible N-line trim.
Verdict: The 2023 Verna will be introduced in India at the upcoming Auto Expo. Upon its debut, it will rival the competitors like the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Honda City, etc. We expect that it will be priced a notch above the current model due to the addition of features.
