Royal Enfield Bullet 350 - What Will Be New?
As anticipated, the new Bullet 350 will get a complete revamp mechanically. A test mule of it was spied on the previous year and it looked more or less the same as the current model. However, RE will introduce the J-series platform with the new Bullet. Additionally, the UCE powertrain on the current Bullet will be replaced by the J-series engine. Mind you, the current 350cc lineup has a new engine. The models which use it include the Classic 350 & the newly launched Hunter 350.
Apart from the new engine & chassis, RE will also redesign the outlook of it. The iconic rectangular taillight will be gone forever now. It'll be replaced by a tail design inspired by the Classic 350. Also, the headlamp area will undergo some minor revisions. What's visible through the teaser is that it'll retain its iconic metal badge on the fuel tank. It is good news to the fanatics who love the old-school charm of the Bullet 350. More details will emerge once the bike gets revealed on 30 August in Chennai.
Verdict
The new Bullet 350 is expected to bring more refinement as well as better quality to the iconic model by RE. Once it debuts on Augut 30, it'll compare with Yezdi Roadster & Jawa 42 in India. We expect its introductory price tag to be around Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom).
