Tata Motors has officially introduced the 2023 Tata Harrier facelift, marking the commencement of bookings for this updated model, although the precise launch date remains undisclosed. The Harrier facelift undergoes a substantial transformation, encompassing alterations to its exterior, interior, and an array of front-end features. Additionally, the brand has introduced a fresh palette of colors and revamped variant names for this SUV. The recently introduced Harrier facelift showcases a new front profile featuring innovative connected LED DRL. The front grille, serving as the vehicle's very countenance, has been redesigned, extending its influence to the rear and giving the SUV with a fresh aesthetic. Notably, it sports redesigned headlamps and fog lamps, further elevating the design elements. Moreover, taking inspiration from the world of athletic fashion, the striking new signature hue, aptly termed 'Fearless Yellow,' underscores the unique personality of its distinct customers. It now gets R19 Alloy wheels with Aero inserts.

Within the cabin, a prominent feature takes center stage, and that is none other than the dual screens comprising a 12.2-inch HD touchscreen Infotainment System and a 10.2-inch HD Configurable Digital Instrument Cluster. The gloss black finisher, seamlessly integrated with the HVAC switches, has evolved into a capacitive design, rendering all climate control adjustments accessible via a touchscreen module. Additionally, there is now a genuine leather four-spoke steering wheel, illuminated to provide a touch of sophistication. This, in conjunction with the multifaceted ambient lighting, persona-inspired In-Mold Decoration (IMD) elements, and leatherette mid-pad accents, contributes to an enhanced sense of luxury and premium quality within the interior.

These include a 360-degree surround-view system with a blind-view monitor, front parking assistance, a power-operated tailgate controlled by gestures, voice-activated dual-zone automatic climate control, ventilated power-adjustable front seats, a voice-controlled panoramic sunroof, a rapid 45W C-Type charger, and a wireless charger. These amenities make the new Harrier a gateway to convenience. Furthermore, it is equipped with a JBL Branded 10-speaker audio system, complete with a subwoofer. The vehicle also incorporates Alexa Car2home functionality, boasting an impressive repertoire of 250+ voice commands available in 6 languages, with support from Amazon Alexa and Tata Voice Assistant. The iRA Connected Car Technology 2.0 ensures seamless connectivity.

When it comes to safety, the Harrier leaves no room for compromise. It is equipped with a total of 7 airbags, with 6 of them being standard across all variants. Additionally, the vehicle features an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) with 11 key functionalities, including Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go function (AT only), Autonomous Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Rear Collision Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warning, and Lane Change Alert, among others. Furthermore, an Electronic Stability Program with 17 capabilities ensures enhanced stability and control. For the safety of all occupants, 3-point seatbelts are provided with reminders, and ISOFIX restraints are also included.

In the 2023 Harrier, you'll find the identical 2.0-liter diesel engine that generates an impressive 168 bhp of power and a peak torque of 350 Nm. This potent engine is coupled with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. What sets the 2023 Harrier facelift apart is its introduction of the first-in-class smart E-Shifter for automatic transmissions, which, in combination with steering-mounted paddle shifters, ensures seamless ergonomics and silky-smooth gear shifts. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with terrain response modes and offers a selection of three distinct drive modes for added versatility.
