Tata Nexon Facelift: New Alloys Look Fancy
Although the vehicle is under heavy camo, we can still make out that it is the Tata Nexon facelift. Thanks to the rear of the car, which unmistakably reminds us of the Nexon. Moving past this, the alloys are where the point of focus is, for now.
The alloys are however under full wraps as well, but we can see the star-shaped geometry. It will be a refresh over the currently existing set of wheels and will inspire a fresh appeal. New Features Incoming
Apart from being a cosmetic upgrade, the Nexon facelift is getting more advanced than before. And it can be attributed to the cut-throat competition that this segment currently is a battleground of.
Just a few days back, the touch-based HVAC controls were leaked and that means fewer physical controls. On top of this, a 360-degree camera, metallic silver paddle shifters, and also sequential turn indicators. Yes, like the ones we recently spotted on the Tata Safari facelift 2023 as well. Plus, a new 2-spoke steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster are coming with the facelift model as well.
Tata Nexon Facelift Powertrain
The facelifted model will continue with the existing engine options. Currently, it gets a 1.5 L diesel engine and a 1.2 L petrol mill. Former churns out 115 PS with 260 Nm of torque whereas the latter is good for 120 PS with 170 Nm of torque.
Most importantly, a new 1.2 L turbo petrol engine could make its way that churns out 125 Ps power with a peak torque of 225 Nm.
VERDICT- The facelifted Tata Nexon is a redesigned and techier update of the current model. With changes on the outside, the cabin is also ready for some massive updates as well. Keep in mind that the Mahindra XUV300 is coming up with its facelift soon and both these will go head-on when launched.
