Yamaha Motor India is all set to launch the new 2023 variant of its naked sports bike the MT-15. The debut of the 2023 Yamaha MT-15 is expected for the next week. It will have new features, cosmetic upgrades, and an updated engine that complies with BS-6 phase 2 standards. 2023 Yamaha MT-15 - Design
The motorcycle will maintain its current generation's general aesthetic. With dual LED DRLs, a projector headlight, USD forks in a golden colour, rear mono-shock absorber, radiator shrouds, a muscular fuel tank, radiator shrouds, and a side-slung exhaust, the bike will maintain its aggressive appearance. As part of the 2023 model update, the bike will now have red alloy wheels and a new gloss black colour.
Features
The motorbike will still come equipped with a digital instrument dashboard and Y-Connect Bluetooth connectivity feature. The new LED turn indicators, headlight, and taillamp in the 2023 model are new additions. For the 2023 model, the motorcycle's lighting has been modified by the manufacturer. The Dual-Channel ABS is another significant feature upgrade; the present model only has a Single-Channel ABS, but the 2023 edition will also include a Dual-Channel ABS variant.

Engine
The motorbike will still be equipped with a 155cc liquid-cooled engine that cranks out 18.1 bhp and 14.2 Nm of maximum torque. The engine now complies with the forthcoming OBD-2 standards, which are required for two-wheelers to be in compliance with BS-6 phase 2. A 6-speed constant mesh transmission is included with this engine.
Price & Rival
The upcoming 2023 variant of the Yamaha MT-15 is expected to be priced higher than the current model. The addition of new features will bring this price hike. The motorcycle will continue to compete with the Bajaj Pulsar NS 160, Honda Hornet 2.0, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and other similar priced motorcycles.
