Jawa-Yezdi Motorcycles is all set to launch the 2024 Jawa 42 motorcycle tomorrow for the Indian market. The brand has recently launched the updated Jawa 42 at Rs 1.72 lakh (ex-showroom). The upcoming motorcycle will be the second motorcycle of the 42 lineup. The updated version of the current motorcycle was launched with a new engine and colour options. Upcoming Jawa 42 Motorcycle
The upcoming Jawa 42 is expected to get an updated platform similar to the one given to the Jawa 350. The brand will keep the youthful design language and peppy colour options. Moreover, we can expect it to get a new bigger 334cc engine as the Jawa 350. This engine produces 22.5 PS of power and 28.1 Nm of peak torque. This engine is expected to produce the same power and torque in the new 42 as well.
The newly released teaser has also shown some design changes which will be part of the upcoming model. It will get a new upswept exhaust, a split pillion grab rail, a redesigned single seat, and a slimmer fuel tank among other subtle design changes. The teaser also showed telescopic front forks, dual spring shocks at the rear, and front and rear disc brakes along with alloy wheels on both ends.
As for the features, we can expect it to get a digital instrument cluster, and dual-channel ABS, among other features. Moreover, the motorcycle will continue to get a USB and Type C charging port.

Jawa-Yezdi Motorcycles is on a spree to update its motorcycle lineup to make them more competitive. The brand primarily compete with Royal Enfield and some of its model are the direct rival of the Royal Enfield motorcycles. The new update to the Jawa 42 is expected to make it a more fierce rival of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
