If you remember from last year, the Skoda Superb made a comeback in its old guise, as a CBU. While that was a stop-gap arrangement, the Czech car maker has now unveiled the new Superb at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo, alongside the new Kodiaq, the Octavia RS 245, and the Kylaq.
The new Superb could possibly be launched here after the new Kodiaq, and before we go any further, make sure to join the 91wheels WhatsApp Community to keep up with the latest news and automotive updates!

2025 Skoda Superb Details
The new Superb is very much recognizable as a Skoda, and it even looks like a grown-up Slavia, which isn't a bad thing. It retains the trademark Skoda butterfly grille, with sleek Matrix LED headlights adding 36 different light signatures. However, unlike the new Kodiaq, the Superb does not get an integrated lighting bar in the grille.
The profile of the car looks very European, which is typical of every Superb, and it continues to ride on 18-inch wheels, but with new alloy rims. Lastly, the new Superb gets triangular-shaped tail lights and a neatly-styled boot. Unlike most modern cars, the Superb does not make use of connected tail lights.
Like the new Kodiaq, the new Superb also gets a wide range of powertrain options globally, including a mild-hybrid and a plug-in hybrid as well. However, it is set to share the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol, now producing 201bhp and 320Nm of torque, while paired to the 7-speed DSG transmission.

The interior layout of the new Superb is also quite similar to the new Kodiaq's, but with a few differentiating elements. It gets vertical slats towards the passenger side, while the 13-inch infotainment touch screen takes centre stage once again. Also making an appearance here is the optional head-up display, a 10-inch Virtual Cockpit digital cluster, and smart dials for the A/C with an integrated display.
Other features on offer include a 16-speaker sound system, voice assistant with ChatGPT chatbot integration, remote parking assist, an ADAS suite, ten airbags, and connected car features.

Verdict
The new Superb has also been due for quite long now, and we can expect it to arrive in the Indian market after the Kodiaq, which could happen later this year. If brought in as a CBU, the Superb's prices might go even higher than what they are right now!
