1. Alloy Size
The SUVs are characterized by bold bodylines, muscular stances, and not the least, bigger alloys. Talking about the alloys, the Skoda Kylaq comes with a bigger 17-inch alloy that adds a bit more character to the compact SUV whereas the Hyundai Venue tops out at 16-inch set-up. Even though this is something that the customers can upgrade in the aftermarket, but the factory fit is something that is best suited, in most cases.
2. Ventilated And Powered Seats
The Skoda Kylaq offers a significant advantage over the Venue with its 6-way powered driver and co-driver seats, both equipped with ventilation. In contrast, the Hyundai Venue offers only a 4-way powered driver's seat and lacks ventilated seats. Not just this, Kylaq also offers first-in-segment powered co-driver seat adjustment which is again a worthy mention here.
3. Better Fully Digital Instrument Cluster
The Skoda Kylaq features an 8-inch fully digital driver's display, offering a modern and informative instrument cluster. In contrast, the Hyundai Venue uses a digital display, with a colored multi-information display (MID) providing additional information which although it is a digital cluster, feels less intuitive and relatively less exciting to interact with.
4. Rain Sensing Wipers
Another quirky addition that the Skoda Kylaq offers over Venue is the rain-sensing wipers, which automatically turn on upon detecting water droplets and adjust the speed accordingly. However, I would put this feature in the feel-good category, and not a big improvement in convenience as you can still turn it on with the flick of a switch. But if you want to flaunt something quirky extra, this does help.

5. 10.25-inch Infotainment Screen Size
This is an area where the Hyundai Venue really need to step-up its game in general and not particularly in this case only. The Skoda Kylaq offers a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen whereas the Venue still offers an 8-inch unit that feels a bit smaller. I hope that Hyundai upgrades the size to match the evolving trends where 10-inch plus screens are becoming a norm with the higher variants.
Verdict
Skoda has entered the scene a bit too late, where the rivals have established themselves, proving their mettle overtime and carving out a space for themselves with their loyal fanbase. Even though Skoda offers good models and specs, just like its previous models, it takes some time to establish and then move upwards from their.
